WHY SOUTH OF WONDER
South of Wonder is a creative ecosystem rooted in original storytelling and the belief that the people closest to the story are the ones best equipped to tell it.
We develop and produce film, television, documentary, and branded content.
We build community and share knowledge, because a rising tide is only useful if people know how to swim.
We operate with craft, intention, and no apologies.

THE FOUNDER
ARIANNA LAWSON
Arianna Lawson didn't go to film school. She went to Ernst & Young.
She spent years in audit before pivoting to media, and that path turned out to be the point. With a Master's in Entrepreneurship from DePaul and a deep understanding of how structure drives success, she came to filmmaking with something most creatives don't have: a system. But what drove her there was something no degree could teach. A hunger to tell stories that matter.
The education side came from her own journey. She knows what it's like to cobble together advice from a hundred different places, to learn by watching others on set, to ask a question nobody could answer directly: where do I even start? So she built the resource she wishes had existed.
She believes the same thing in the editing room as she does in the workshop: structure doesn't kill creativity. It's what sets it free.
